Lionel Freight Cars
Lionel freight cars add another dimension of fun to model railroading. Many of these cars like the gondola and dump cars have mechanical action to load or unload their cargo via electronic remote control. The loads often vary as well from Lionel supplied wooden barrels, Lincoln logs, plastic cable reels, industrial canisters and more.
Of these cars, it seems that the rarest variety from Lionel is the model number 3562-1 A.T. & S.F. (Type III ) made in 1954 only, if you manage to find one of these. Try hard to acquire it if the owner will ever sell it to you!
