MTH Diesel Train Engines
The extensive attention to detail and realism by MTH really shines through in their diesel locomotives. This realism carries through at all their price points, but of course it is most prominent at the Premier series level. RailKing and RailKing Scale however typically have more detail and features than some of the 1970’s Lionel Trains. I believe MTH deserves a good amount of credit for helping to usher in a new age of true scale and detail in model railroading; Other manufactures like Lionel have since moved (or more accurately, returned) to this direction also.
