Lionel 2242 New Haven
The 2242 New Haven was made by Lionel in 1958 and 1959. Features of this F3 locomotive are common to other Lionel F3’s of those years and include louvered roof vents, one piece ornamental horns, magnetraction, an operating headlight and an operating horn, and an operating coupler on the front of the A unit. However, unlike the other Super O locomotives the 2242 New Haven only has one vertically mounted motor instead of two.
