Lionel 2345 Western Pacific
This very appealing and collectable EMD F3 diesel locomotive is recognizable by its classic orange and silver paint job. It was only produced in 1952, a period still within what would be considered the golden age of Lionel trains. Some of the details particular to this unit include clear plastic port holes, a transformer controlled battery powered horn, dual horizontally mounted motors, blue steel steps leading up to body molded access door near rear, and an operating headlight for both the powered and unpowered A units.
